
Jing Lusi, Martin Compston board new season of ITV’s Red Eye
FIRST LOOK: Jing Lusi and Martin Compston are teaming up for season two of ITV thriller Red Eye, which is currently in production.
Season two will see Lusi reprising her role as DS Hana Li alongside new guest star Compston, who together must set aside past differences to solve a new high-stakes conspiracy.
The six-parter will also see the return of Lesley Sharp as the Head of MI5 Madeline Delaney and Jemma Moore as journalist Jess Li, as well as Jonathan Aris, Robert Guilbert, Cash Holland and Steph Lacey.
New cast members include Isaura Barbe-Brown (Guilt), Nicholas Rowe (The Crown), Danusia Samal (The Great), Trevor White (Industry) and Guy Williams (The White Princess).
Produced by Bad Wolf and written once again by the show’s creator Peter A Dowling, Red Eye S2 will be produced by Chris May. Julie Gardner, Peter A Dowling and Lachlan MacKinnon are executive producers and Kieron Hawkes returns to direct episodes 1-3, with Camilla Strøm Henriksen directing episodes 4-6. Jingan Young returns to write an episode.
Sony Pictures Television is handling international distribution, with season one airing in more than 120 territories worldwide.
