Netflix chimes into The Seven Dials Mystery
Mia McKenna-Bruce (How To Have Sex) will star in The Seven Dials Mystery, a new Agatha Christie series for Netflix.
She will play young, determined sleuth ‘Bundle’ alongside Helena Bonham Carter (Nolly) as Lady Caterham and Martin Freeman (The Responder) as Battle.
England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.
The Seven Dials Mystery is penned by Broadchurch creator Chris Chibnall and executive produced by Suzanne Mackie (The Crown) through her company Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman (Good Omens). Chris Sweeney (The Tourist, Back to Life) will direct.
The Seven Dials Mystery is the first series to go into production with Orchid Pictures and will begin filming this summer.
Chris Chibnall will executive produce the show through his company Imaginary Friends and James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited is also an executive producer on the series. Andy Stebbing is on board as an executive producer and Joanna Crow is the series producer.
