This eight-part series follows the big-screen action movies Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen and Angel Has Fallen. After a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce (Harris) attacks a high-profile event, with the French minister of defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb (Jallab) partners with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor (Arya) to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realise that the plan extends beyond just one politician, and the pair must rely on each other to stop Paris falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance.

With Salma Hayek Pinault among the executive producers, this eagerly anticipated series is based on the novel of the same name by Laura Esquivel. The story explores the idea that sometimes traditions can become a prison – and an obstacle to love – as it focuses on Tita de la Garza and Pedro Múzquiz, two souls deeply in love yet unable to be together due to entrenched family customs. The protagonists navigate a world of magical realism as Tita struggles between the destiny imposed on her by her family and her fight for love. But her magical connection to cooking becomes an active resistance against oppression, allowing her to channel her deepest desires and passions into her recipes, transforming those who taste them.

The Day of the Jackal

Interior Chinatown

When Willis inadvertently becomes a witness to a crime, he begins to unravel a criminal web in Chinatown, while discovering his own family’s buried history and what it feels like to be in the spotlight.
