Netflix toasts House of Guinness
TRAILER: Netflix has unveiled the trailer for House of Guinness, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight’s epic historical drama inspired by one of Europe’s most famous and enduring family dynasties. It debuts on September 25, 2025.
Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.
The cast is headed by Anthony Boyle (Masters of the Air) as Arthur Guinness, with Louis Partridge (Disclaimer) as Edward Guinness), Emily Fairn (The Responder) as Anne Plunket (née Guinness), Fionn O’Shea (Normal People) as Benjamin Guinness and James Norton (Happy Valley) as Sean Rafferty.
The ensemble drama also features Dervla Kirwan, Jack Gleeson, Niamh McCormack, Danielle Galligan, Ann Skelly, Seamus O’Hara, Michael McElhatton, David Wilmot, Michael Colgan, Jessica Reynolds, Hilda Fay and Elizabeth Daulau.
The series is produced by Kudos and Nebulastar. It is created and written by Knight, who executive produces with Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, Tom Shankland and Ivana Lowell.
