Netflix opens doors to House of Guinness

FIRST LOOK: Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O’Shea and James Norton lead the cast of House of Guinness, a period drama from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight coming to Netflix on September 25, 2025.

House of Guinness explores an epic story inspired by one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties – the Guinness Family. Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story begins immediately after the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the phenomenon that is Guinness.

Boyle plays Arthur Guinness, with Partridge as Edward Guinness, Fairn as Anne Plunket, O’Shea as Benjamin Guinness and Norton as Sean Rafferty.

The cast also includes Dervla Kirwan (Aunt Agnes Guinness), Jack Gleeson (Byron Hedges), Niamh McCormack (Ellen Cochrane), Danielle Galligan (Lady Olivia Hedges), Ann Skelly (Adelaide Guinness),
Seamus O’Hara (Patrick Cochrane), Michael McElhatton (John Potter), David Wilmot (Bonnie Champion),
Michael Colgan (Rev Henry Gratton), Jessica Reynolds (Lady Christine O’Madden), Hilda Fay (Sultan) and Elizabeth Daulau (Lady Henrietta St Lawrence).

The series is produced by Kudos and Nebulastar. It is created and written by Knight, who executive produces with Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, Tom Shankland and Ivana Lowell.

The series producer is Cahal Bannon, the producer is Howard Burch and the directors are Tom Shankland and Mounia Aki.
