FIRST LOOK: Rosalind Eleazar, Ashley Walters and Richard Armitage head the cast of Missing You, the latest Netflix limited series from Harlan Coben.

Eleazar plays Kat Donovan, a detective specialising in Missing Persons. Eleven years ago her fiancé Josh (Ashley Walters) – the love of her life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since.

Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.

The cast also includes Armitage as Ellis Stagger, Jessica Plummer (Stacey Embalo), Lenny Henry (Clint Donovan), Steve Pemberton (Titus), Marc Warren (Monte Leburne), Samantha Spiro (Nurse Sally Steiner), Lisa Faulkner (Dana Fells), Mary Malone (Aqua), James Nesbitt (Calligan), Matt Jay-Willis (Darryl) and Rudi Dharmalingam (Rishi).

Based on Coben’s novel of the same name, the story is relocated from the US to the UK, with filming taking place in and around Manchester and the North West of England.

The five-part series is produced by Quay Street Productions. Coben is an executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions.

The lead writer is Victoria Asare-Archer (Stay Close), who is also an executive producer with Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee and Danny Brocklehurst. The producer is Guy Hescott (The Red King, Without Sin) and the directors are Nimer Rashed (Fool Me Once) and Isher Sahota (Ridley, Grace).

Missing You is due to air in the new year.
