Michael Hirst on Bloodaxe, returning to Viking history and writing with his son
Six years after the conclusion of Vikings, creator and writer Michael Hirst is overseeing the finishing touches to Bloodaxe, a new Viking saga coming to Prime Video. He tells DQ about dramatising “the last great Viking,” the changing shape of the TV business and why he’s no longer writing on his own.
