TRAILER: Rose Ayling-Ellis takes the lead in Code of Silence, a crime thriller coming to ITV and STV on Sunday, May 18.

At the heart of the series is Alison Brooks (Ayling-Ellis), a smart and determined Deaf woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when her remarkable lip-reading skills catch the attention of DS Ashleigh Francis (Charlotte Ritchie) and DI James Marsh (Andrew Buchan). Recruited for a covert operation, Alison must surveil a dangerous gang planning a high-stakes heist, thrusting her into a world of crime and deception.

As she deciphers the gang’s secret conversations, Alison becomes a vital asset to the case. But when she forms a dangerous bond with gang recruit Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), the risks grow greater and her true identity is put at stake.

The six-part series is written and created by Catherine Moulton and directed by Diarmuid Goggins.

Code of Silence will premiere on ITV1, STV, ITVX, and STV Player on Sunday, May 18.
