Doctor Who plots arrival on BBC, Disney+
As Ncuti Gatwa prepares to star in his first full season of Doctor Who, check out the trailer for the upcoming eight-episode run and discover all eight episode titles.
The first episode is called Space Babies, with Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton) joining the cast as Jocelyn, who the Doctor (Gatwa) and Ruby (Millie Gibson) meet on their first adventure in the TARDIS.
The Devil’s Chord then sees Jinkx Monsoon appear as the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet, as the Doctor and Ruby step back in time to the Swinging Sixties – and enjoy an encounter with The Beatles.
Launching with a double bill of Space Babies and The Devil’s Chord at midnight on May 11 on BBC iPlayer in the UK, new episodes will debut weekly across BBC iPlayer, BBC One and around the world on Disney+.
Guest stars across the season will include Callie Cooke, Dame Siân Phillips, Alexander Devrient, Bhav Joshi, Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy, Tachia Newall and Caoilinn Springall.
They will join Michelle Greenidge, Angela Wynter, Anita Dobson, Aneurin Barnard, Yasmin Finney, Jonathan Groff, Gwïon Morris Jones, Bonnie Langford, Genesis Lynea, Jemma Redgrave, Lenny Rush and Indira Varma.
