FIRST LOOK: Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement head the cast of comedy-drama Alice and Steve, a “messy and complicated exploration of friendship, family and love” coming to Disney+ this summer.

Walker plays Alice, who is devastated when her best friend Steve (Clement) starts dating her 26-year-old daughter Izzy (Yali Topol Margalith). She’s going to lose her best friend and her daughter in one fell swoop. Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship. Unfortunately for her, Steve’s more than ready for the attack, and what begins as a perfect friendship, devolves into an all-out feud.

Described as an anti-romantic comedy that asks how far would you go for love, or revenge, it also stars Joel Fry as Alice’s husband Daniel. Tyrese Eaton-Dyce, Marcia Warren, Eilidh Fisher and Ebony Aboagye also star in the ensemble cast.

The six-parter is created and written by Sophie Goodhart and directed by Tom Kingsley. Petra Fried, Andy Baker and Wim De Greef executive produce for Clerkenwell Films and the series is produced by Fran du Pille.

It will debut on Disney+ this summer, following its world premiere in April at French television festival Canneseries 2026.
