BBC looks forward to Reunion

TRAILER: Here’s the trailer for Reunion, the BBC’s upcoming four-part bilingual series that blends spoken English with British Sign Language. It debuts on Monday, April 7.

Produced by Warp Films (Adolescence), Reunion is an emotional thriller of revenge and redemption following the journey of Daniel Brennan, a deaf man determined to right his wrongs while unravelling the truth behind the events that led him to prison.

Brennan embodies the struggle of a man caught between two worlds, unable to fully integrate into the hearing world and shunned by the deaf community. Amidst this isolation, Brennan’s only meaningful relationship is with his estranged daughter Carly, who he hasn’t seen in over a decade.

Written by Sheffield-born dead writer William Mager, the cast includes Matthew Gurney, Lara Peake, Anne-Marie Duff, Eddie Marsan and Rose Ayling-Ellis.

All four episodes of Reunion will be on BBC iPlayer from 6am on Monday, April 7, with episodes airing on BBC One on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9pm that night.
